Of Prairie Dogs and Pizza...

Today, we joined our friends Mark and Merrell Olsen for church at Foothills Bible Church. It was wonderful getting to worship the Lord together and meet their friends in their young marrieds class. After church, we went and had the best ever pizza at "The Oven" which is close to their apartment. Charlie actually had pizza with tomatoes on it and loved it! Ingredients: sweet roasted tomatoes, goat cheese, prosciutto, oregano, and basil. Divine.

It was a really neat new development that contained restaurants, businesses, and shops. There was a farmers market in the street also that we got to browse around through the over-priced jewelry, pastries, produce, and even Mexican Crepes. Go Figure.

However, besides the pizza- the highlight of the afternoon was a very special protected class of animal... the prairie dog. Apparently, Coloradans feel the need to have protected open spaces for them to roam and make their territory. Merrell and I really want one despite how barky they get. We saw several just on the side of the road scampering around.
Aren't they cute?
