We drove from 9pm Friday night until Saturday at 1pm. Charlie was a real trooper and drove the whole way through Colorado, New Mexico, and most of Texas! I was in and out of conscienceness but for the most part didn't get much sleep. It rained most of the way so it didn't make for a quiet drive. But God protected us and we got here safe and just in time to go see Ballroom with a Twist at the Cowan Center. (totally didn't plan it, my mom just happened to have extra tickets and we happened to show up with enough time to go.) It was great!

We got to see Gilles from Dancing with the Stars and some really great vocals from David Hernandez (American Idol). The last couple of days, Charlie has been working and we're both just trying to rest up and relax as much as possible. The dreary rain continues and I actually like it. It makes me calm down and enjoy life a little. Charlie hates it because he can't really go outside but he likes chilling with me and his parents.

I had a nice girls day yesterday with my mom and sister. We went out to lunch and then went to a Stationary store called the Writing Horse and bought mom her birthday present. She got a stamp and some calling cards and it was just what she wanted. It makes me happy to see others get the exact thing they like:) I hope everyone is doing well and still enjoying reading our blog!
