To the Land of Cheese and beyond!

Yesterday, we took another of our day road trips up to Wisconsin. We had a blast going up through Milwaukee to Sheboygan to Green Bay to Appleton back to Milwaukee and back home.

Milwaukee bridge... It was snowing pretty hard throughout the morning and made it difficult to get good pictures. It's a really pretty city though. There is more beer consumed there per capita than any other city in the U.S. and it did really smell like hops.
By the time we got to Sheboygan, it was all blue skies. It was an adorable little town but we, unfortunately, could not find the cheese shop downtown that we saw on Google. We really had a blast saying the name "Sheboygan" over and over.

So, we moved on up to Green Bay where they were having Winterfest downtown! It was awesome! They had an Ice Sculpture contest going on and wood making and this awesome snowman of a Packer.
We had to go see where the Packers play... those cheese heads.
We took an alternate route home through Appleton, the home of Harry Houdini. We couldn't find his statue so we stopped at Texas Roadhouse to grab some dinner, our favorite. As we turned off to go into the parking lot we saw something we've never seen before: a curling club.
