The House with the Blue Door

It's not Notting Hill, it's not even Florence, Italy, but it is paradise compared to the cold weather of Chicago. We now live in a house with a blue door. It took 7 days to pack, 5 guys to load up the 16 foot moving truck, and 12 hours of driving. However, it took 5 guys 30 minutes to get all of our stuff into this adorable townhouse, and 2 days to completely unpack. Granted I have more motivation as we are leaving to go to Texas tomorrow for a wedding. Nonetheless, impressive, as we are completely done all the way down to the last curtain. Ironically, we are now packing again to go to Tyler.

For those of you who are interested, there a ton of pictures to follow.

Apartment #1.

Our first doorbell!

The living room is on the right as you enter.

The Kitchen/Dining Room

The Stairs are on your left. I've never had stairs inside my house before!

No linen closet, so I had to be creative with the towels.

Bathroom #1.

Charlie's Man Cave as he calls it. (or his office)

I set him up a little coffee bar so he felt more like going to the office:) as well as a nice girly decorated bathroom #2.

Our abode.

Bathroom #2.5

Moving made Ella have such an appetite.
