Roadtrip....

The goal of our road trip was two-fold: 1) to attend the True Church Conference at Grace Life Church of the Shoals, and 2) to find an apartment to move to in mid-march.

Both accounts were successful. God is moving in miraculous ways in this church and it was truly a blessing to a part of the training of His children. We stayed with an elder of the church and his wife, Steve and Donna Bradley. They were so hospitable and kind to us. We truly learned a lot and felt blessed by being in their home out in the country...horses, dogs, and all. We even met Toby the turkey down the street:).

We put a deposit on a nice townhouse in Florence. Pictured above. It is definitely the newest complex in the whole area. We'll like it. There is lots of outdoor activities in the area to keep Charlie busy everyday the rest of the year. Below is a picture of Florence and the Tennessee River.

We took in 6 states this past weekend. We travelled through Indianapolis, IN; Cincinnati, OH; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; and finally, Florence, AL. So, we got to check a few more off our list. You can't go through Kentucky without a little Colonel Sanders. You can see it from the hwy, see below.

Below is Cincinnati, OH, as you come in from the south side. It seems as though you are in the middle of nowhere and then you come around the bend... and boom! A city!
