Food Poisoning 101...

The past week has been pretty crazy busy. Saturday, I went over to the mansion to work on some homework, do laundry, and have brunch with my fellow students. Since we are all stuck indoors for most of the week (meaning 12 hours a day or so), they wanted to go out. So, we went to this little place Mr. Jardine had been before and sat out in their garden. Really nice place. We had decided to do brunch. So me and one other girl decided to stick with the plan and the guys decided on the burgers. I ordered a chorizo borrito that was absolutely delicious. We went back to finish up the laundry and do homework until around 5 and I started feeling bad. It felt somewhat like I was getting another migraine which is normal for me and even though my homework wasn't perfect, I had to get out of there. An hour or two later, I figured out that it wasn't a migraine. It was food poisoning. I spent most of the night throwing up everything possible including probably parts of my stomach. I'm blogging right now to keep myself busy as I'm laying on the couch trying not to think about how bad my body hurts. So far, I've been able to keep down about 1 ounce of water. I keep trying to sip it. Its amazing how simple things become so hard when you're sick not to mention scared of having to run like a bat out of hell to the bathroom.

All that to say, I don't feel good. Please pray for me as my body deals with this. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do and going to the doctor wouldn't do any good unless it lingers for more than 3 days. Hydration supposedly is the key. Easier said than done. So, be careful when ordering eggs.
Thank you, Lord, for this amazing husband who is taking care of me. He has such a service heart and is there for me every step of the way.

  2. Oh, sweet girl! I'm so sorry! Hope it's all better now. I really thought Food Poisoning 101 was going to be about one of your classes. :)

Also, what is it that is particularly bad for a bat in Hell? Is it the light from the fire? the heat itself? Maybe it's the noise.
